The fact remains that governments and fossil fuel corporations are spending billions to fund research into alternative and sustainable energy. If hoping one of these literally dozens of projects has a breakthrough is "wishcasting," then so be it. Guilty as charged.

We just have to live in the now, and the now is ALREADY not adequate for we have billions living in poverty, and millions with not enough food to eat. Hoping some magic will occur and some future technology to save us is wishcasting instead of dealing with the CRISIS now and building with our current technology.
