It looks like we're proceeding with the plan so a few reminders

Since most of the active players have already posted a code I'm taking that as tacit consent.... the nice thing about this though is that if everyone is using a decent code we can scrub the mission all the way up to the last minute, leaving all the codes out there uncracked, which is something to keep in mind since I'm sure we'll see this tactic again now that jack's out of the proverbial box.
Codes, codes, codes... remember when making the code that shorter is better, a couple padding characters never hurts and for real short role names its a good idea to pad up to at least 10, but the longer a code, the easier it is to crack, short messages are virtually impossible to crack, but short gives something away, a hybrid character obviously can't properly RC with 3 or 4 letters even if they abbreviate, cop and doc are very short, most roles aren't, etc. Padding in this context is simply making the message longer, either before or after the encryption, like encrypting "I Am the Cop" instead of just Cop.
The big thing, and this needs emphasizing, is that since a message that's hard to break is the goal, the means for breaking it has to be something that on reveal seems unarguably genuine, you can hint around it, like referencing smells "This massclaim idea smells fishy to me" then using "Rotten Salmon" as the key, because there's about zero chance in hell of anyone guessing that even if they realize the above quote is the hint, but when pointed out, its taken as a given. Don't use some random string of numbers or letters, which is what you'd do if you were genuinely trying to make something uncrackable, because you can make any words you want out of a string of code with the right choice of numbers, so the decrypt is highly suspect. The whole idea behind this is to be able to prove your RC was set in stone before you heard anyone else's RC, so if your decryption key isn't highly credible it will make you suspect. Making your key, and thus your uninformed claim, highly credible is more important than making your code unbreakable.
