The biggest one is that if Isaac were scum, I don't think Katie would have been the first victim to be nightkilled.
"IPUFODTUDKQRWTRIONEFOR
Contained in that is my coded role message and sufficient data that on explanation it will be clear I was specifically claiming this particular thing, good luck anyone trying to crack that, it definitely isn't a piece of cake. "
Break Message into IP-UFODTUDKQRW-TRIONEFOR, the first and third piece are for padding and confirmation, padding because the length of an encryption can be a decent clue in of itself. Next, we have IP - which is backwards for Pi, 3.1415926535... and the last piece TRIONEFOR, or tri-one-for, 314 or 3.14, for Pi as well.
U F O D T U D K Q R W
21 6 15 4 20 21 4 11 17 18 23
3 1 4 1 5 9 2 6 5 3 5
Subtract
18 5 11 3 15 12 2 5 12 15 18
R E K C O L B E L O R
REKCOLBELOR... backwards (backwards Pi) ... Roleblocker
So what we did there was take Roleblocker, turn it around, convert it into numbers, add pi to them, and turn them back into letters, then on either side of it we adding padding which also served as key and proof: IP (backwards Pi) and at the end, TRIONEFOR or a jumbled but clear on explanation three-one-four, the first three digits of Pi.
Final clue, in the following text "to crack that, it definitely isn't a piece of cake", because it's not cake, it's Pie, or Pi. In this case they cipher is reversal, addition of a key Pi, then adding the references to the key and cipher in as padding.
You guessed correctly on this and above, I am a role blocker, hence my certainty Yuna attacked no one last night but not, as a tracker would know, whether she did anything to someone in particular, ideally I'd rather have waited for her to claim, should she have sought to lie. Of course, a roleblocker would be in a position right form the get-go to know, be he town or scum, that the game included other active roles, unless the Mod were deliberately creating red herrings. Hence why I was uniquely suited to stop the All-vanilla ponderings.
There is of course no way to tell me apart from a scummer RBer save by normal copping and general deduction, but that is rarely a hindrance, I don't doubt everyone will believe the RBer claim, if not necessarily the alignment, so I needn't point out the many statements previously made that hint at RBer, were I a scummer RBer, I would have done essentially the same things, except for the ninja comment, far too great a gamble if it had turned out all the townies had defeat ninjas etc in their RMs, scum RMs rarely match the townie RM template. My aforementioned 'reliable source' for knowing Yuna wasn't DK's killer was the moderator, and of course you're right, I would not have targeted DK on night 1 of this game, I dislike killing active players early via NK - not by lynch though - and I'd consider it bad manners to do so two games in a row, even if my intention in targeting her for NK last game was essentially for conversion purposes, even if the conversion occurred slightly differently than anticipated.
So, our last piece of the puzzle, my willingness to cause a massclaim, as a RBer, I have a decent chance of preventing a night kill from taking place. Not great, not likely a majority, but if we lynch two people, then I will have only 7 to pick from, reasonable odds in of itself but from the massclaim I should be able to make a good draw down, even limiting three off my list would make the odds 1 in 4, rising each night the ninjas don't kill me, thus much of the risk was to myself. With the other strong reasons for doing this, it was a bit of icing on the cake, and of course I did not mind the full night block, since that is what I do to individuals anyway, and couldn't know what other power roles we had remaining.
Now, as a sidenote, let it be noted that Roleblocker is a standard town role, I was not lying of course, since I said "it is not what we'd call a standard town role", and we don't, even though its on the mafiascum wiki list of basic roles for both scum and town.
Mafia
Goon
Roleblocker
Godfather
Town
Townie
Cop
Doctor
Roleblocker
Vigilante
Mason
Roleblocker was first used as a scummer role in game 5, FT's first time moderating, as a Gleeman, and the general desire to give DF's more than just a NK as role's increased in proportion to players saw it regularly re-appear in games following, often as gleeman, Yunalesca, who then went by the username gleegirl, actually got assigned the character in my first game of gleeman, which was vanilla because I deliberately shook up all the character-role connections, the warder wans't the cop, the AS wasn't the doc, and the gleeman - or gleergirl in this case because I couldn't resist punning on that coincidence - was not the roleblocker. Its not, I think, very out of character for FT to break the house stereotype of RBer since he first used it. Nor surprising it lasted so long, there are very few roles for the scum, but hoards of them for the town, I think most mods create a scum RBer to compensate for their desire to try out new roles, whereas giving the town a RBer is losing one role slot you could have experimented with a new role, but we've gone through virtually every role for town by now
And so there we have it, I'll add a little more once Yuna has claimed.
The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.
