Yes, well when the clues are so easily misinterpreted

It is better to stay away from them all together, or at least look to other sources primarily.
There was literally NO evidence on WF other than flavor. He himself had done nothing suspicious, multiple people said so. So why did we lynch him again? Because of his flavor. And our assumptions about his flavor text and what seems logical and correct were totally wrong. Beet says they make sense, but that means they make sense to HIM. I'm not a mind reader. A lot of things make sense when you see them from the whole perspective but not when all you can see is a little piece. So yeah, maybe we should take a step back from assuming things based totally on flavor.
Regardless of whether or not our assumptions about WF were logical, they were ultimately wrong. Utterly and totally wrong in every capacity.
Yeah, not ironclad is right. I feel like we have already been relying on flavor too much in this game ... it's gotten our Watcher lynched, for starters. So yeah, I don't find this particular piece of evidence convincing at all.
It didn't get our watcher lynched, misinterpreting evidence or making a bad call does not mean you stop looking at evidence. Both our dead players had their role powers specifically connected to their characters ability by the mod, mine is the same, my team of masons is not random people its a hero team, so is ? and fist's, so was fists ability, and every player said their role was connected to their character. We just have to remember that the connection might not be the most obvious chain of thought, and I say remember because we talked about this yesterday, we knew that was a possibility with WF, we made a call, it was a good one, it was wrong.
If people had info regarding their own roles that would have shown less obvious connections were regularly, they should have either presented it or at least not said unqualified yes when asked about it. Mine fit like a glove, my allies characters made vig unlikely and watcher more likely elsewhere, to me, and I still asked everyone. Nobody's come out since and said 'maybe I should have said no' or 'its very tangential' either. Beet even said as much to me after the lynch, para-quote '...funny/painful to watch you tell players "WF not watcher, either evil or beet horrible at role assignments', neither that or the un-paraphrased version are outright admissions the characters closely match role powers but what other proof does one need? Beet thinks all the character-power-to-role powers match. Beet just doesn't think of Deadpool as a bad guy, fair enough, I was a comic junkie like 14-20 years ago when Deadpool was appearing on covers shooting at heroes, and pwning the good guys, apparently he has had some revisionism, I still say 'Han shot first', beet presumably doesn't, etc. He didn't have Watcher because he was sneaky, he had it because he could break the fourth wall, he had his NK save because he had a teleporter, he never mentioned it, which broke the vig issue in the end because we're not killing people, we're dumping them into the negative zone... another flavor clue, our vig doesn't have to be willing to kill people in violation of the Comic Code, because we're exiling, not killing, the targets. That was a flavor clue too. How can you say we don't have them?
Regardless of whether or not our assumptions about WF were logical, they were ultimately wrong. Utterly and totally wrong in every capacity.
Flavor's important to the game, both our corpses prove that, misinterpreting the clues doesn't mean they don't exist.
