totally agree with you... xander wasn't fully believable there. i adore anya's character so much, and what that breakup does to her always disturbed me. xander got conned by a demon, he doesn't have anything against anya, and she couldn't do anything about it...which was crappy. i can see the power of having destroyed the relationship given where the character development goes, though. sigh!
