Finally, in last season's finale, didn't the Black Rock approach the island in broad daylight under clear skies?
I was wondering about that too, but I guess the ship from the finale wasn't the Black Rock.
Or they were just intending to pass by and Jacob threw up a big sudden storm to bring them in for a landing.

The statue was still standing in the s5 finale, so it either wasn't them or they got pulled back. *NM*
