"All the clues to who killed Asmo were there prior to LoC right?"
It's interesting that you are allowed to take the main clues from LoC, though.
Anyway, we had this discussion often enough and I doubt we will find a consensus. Let us just wait & see!

My bad ... thought it was through LoC ... even still, TFoH give us plenty of insight into Graendal,
She's a master of compulsion
She's one of the more "Open" of the Forsaken, meaning not one to shy from things she needs. She's smart, but unlike Moghedien she's not afraid to act openly.
She's willing to kill other FS, as we see when she talks openly about it in the meeting with Sammael, Rahvin and Lanfear... and later almost attacks Lanfear.
We know Asmodean knows her location
She's spying on the other FS in TAR according to Birgitte
I also don't think it's a coincidence that she's introduced in the same book as Asmo reveals his knowledge of her location and is then later killed.
But as you say, we'll have to RAFO!
Domani Drag Queen in the White Tower ... Aran'gar watch out!

I am determined to prove, before it's revealed, that Lanfear killed Asmodean.

IMO, the difference is that Ishy was strongly connected to the DO, when he died in TAR. *NM*

But Ishy channeled the TP; thus the DO was more aware of him in TAR. *NM*

I don't see how that really makes a difference

At least Asmo didn't channel the TP, when he died; this could be the difference to Ishy. *NM*

Well, the TP is not related to who killed Asmo, in my view

That has nothing to do with the identity of the killer.
