Or it may be the case that she entered T'A'R thinking it was a way to escape, found herself unable to step off the Skimming platform or to take the steps necessary to truly be free, and then returned to her body, defeated.
I tend to think her mind wouldn't allow her to even come that close! I doubt she had any thing approaching TAR access when it was on her neck.
