I'm re-reading TGS on vacation and when I got to the part where Caddy was showing off the male adam it reminded me of something that's continued to nag me:
Someone took it from a location where she had it very well concealed and very well warded. Granted, were someone able to direct Semi to that spot she'd probably be more than equal to overcome Caddys wards, but the fact remains that the only people we know Caddy revealed its location to were Sorilea and Bair. I still don't entirely rule Cadsuane out as a Darkfriend; we've seen that Elzas and Verins can play some very subtle and murky games in pursuit of their own goals which may or may not be the same as the DOs despite nominal allegiance to him, but I don't think she'd would have slit her own throat as spectacularly as Semi getting the adam in her keeping did, so it seems to me there are four possibilities, which I rank in decreasing order of importance:
1) Bair is a Darkfriend,
2) Sorilea is a Darkfriend,
3) Caddy told another Darkfriend where the adam was (despite the fact it was supposed to have been destroyed) or
4) Someone observed and pursued two senior Wise Ones and Caddy to her tent and observed their entire conversation without detection.
The last I consider a negligible possibility, and the third seems a trivial likelihood, so: Bets...?
EDIT: Also, articles and the like are capitalized when they are the first word of a title, so: "ACoS" and "TGS" (not "aCoS" and "tGS. " ) Sorry to be nitpicky, but it's been bugging me for a while.

So, Is Bair a Darkfriend, or Sorilea?

But Semirhage didn't find it. Elsa did, or SH.

But there isn't anything magical in the sword preparing process, is there?

but the swords wear out over time so it could mean that the effect is only a temporary binding
