Interesting idea, however Demandred claimed that the ability to wield True Power is now limited to Moridin alone. Mesaana has also failed repeatedly, first in disobeying the DO directly by refusing to come to the cleansing, and now in allowing the BA to be decimated. So I am not all that sure if the DO would have allowed Mesaana to wield TP, even to save herself from the oath. Though if he did then this would be a good way for Mesaana to escape.

Though this did bring up another point. We know that TP is so similar to the OP that you can use it with very little training. Rand used Balefire with TP the very first time he wielded it, so it seems likely that it is composed of 5 powers like OP is.

So what would happen if you used a TP weave of spirit to touch the oath rod. Would the fact thats its spirit mean that it would work despite being TP. Would it do nothing? Or would it somehow corrupt the OR and cause it to malfunction.
