From the book one we've been told that rats and ravens are spies for the Shadow. How do you figure they do it? Now we know the answer that was bugging me from day one - special TP weave. And when I read this it was so "intuitively obvious" that it made me smile.
And that's why I dislike it. There was no mention of a dove or anything in the TGS chapter. You don't think Min would have noticed a dove flying about in winter?
Even the people who came up with the outlandish "Graendal survived!" theories did so on completely different reasoning (that she premeditated it).
Back to the bird - Aran'gar recognises what Graendal's doing... so why haven't Forsaken mentioned this trick in passing over the 12 books?
I loved the scene in ToM. It was very well written and fun to read but it was anything BUT obvious.
What was the purpose of Graendal?!
