I'm just noting that you claim to like the Aiel and dislike the Seanchan for entirely different reasons, and I don't buy it. And since the Aiel social-political system is one that itself is quite diferent from the modern Western ideal, I suspect that your ideological outrage is not the driving force here. You like the Aiel because they support the protagonist; you dislike the Seanchan because they oppose the protagonist, and then you go back and start rationalizing that dislike to make it more forceful.
