I'm pretty neutral towards most of the Randland kingdoms, as I don't really see what national pride these guys can have considering that they all speak the same language, and have a mostly common history. Rather than separate nations with their own cultures, languages and heritage, they're more like a kind of Commonwealth that remains of the former Hawkwing Empire, speaking the same language.

They're more like Australia, America, New Zealand and the UK plopped down next to each other, than they are separate peoples like Germans, French, Italians etc.

I never noticed, but that really fits! Good thinking.
