The prologue offered up a LOT of clues and a little bit of hope as well.

The number one question is of course:

1. Where IS Demandred?

He has control of an army that is ready to attack, but where? Graendal suspects the Borderlanders, but that doesn't feel right. We have been there and there are no strange characters or anyone Forsakeny (to coin a phrase enough.) I have always favored King Roerdan, but can he really raise an army big enough?

The second question is:

2. Who is the 'woman' that told Mesaana that Semirhage shot out the fireball because she was surprised?

Besides the suldam and damane the only women present were Cadsuane and Nynaeve. I suppose it could be Elza if Mesaana has contacted her somehow, but she wasn't there. Nynaeve should be out of the question and Cadsuane's PoV makes her very unlikely.

3. How hard has the DO gripped the land with no new growth springing up anywhere?

That is perhaps the spookiest thing about the prologue.

4. Who are Graendal's agents in the tower?

Why is Mesaana so confident?

5. More and more the Forsaken are talking about people serving them that do not know they are. How are they doing that?

6. Did Tylee survive?

I really hope she did.


7. Who manipulated Masema?

We finally figured out how Masema was manipulated. It stinks of Moridin. On the other hand Moridin has been busy and it wouldn't surprise me if Demandred was nearby and did the deed.

Finally (for now since it is too late here):

8. How many Faile haters will be converted after that last monster scene in the prologue?

I am guessing none. If it had been almost any other character this site would be plaster by comments such as XXXX rules. I'll say it:
