Moridin seems to have phantom pain in his hand, thanks to Semirhage. He might also be suffering from the following...

1. Severe nausea and dizziness when he grips the True Power.
2. Constant pain in his side from the Fain/Ishamael wound.
3. Voices in his head.

Does anyone agree with this?


Personally, I believe their connection is similar to a burning together of two threads. The threads remain independent from one another up until the point of the joining (in this case, balefire crossing). Therefore, anything that happened to Rand or Moridin pre-linkage remains unique to that individual alone. Rand received both of the wounds in his side prior to the balefire crossing, so I think Moridin is safe.

Moridin has never appeared to become nauseous when channeling, so I think we can rule that out as well.

And we all know Moridin is bat-sh*t crazy, so he's probably got a voice or two roaming around in his head.
