Well actually redqueen Send a noteboard - 16/05/2011 06:02:57 PM
That after Lan becomes King of Malkier, Nynaeve is going to be in charge in their bedroom?

*shudder*

We don't know what, exactly, the status of Queen of Malkier is. The king might rule the queen, or they might be complete legal equals. Considering the attitude towards women in the Borderlands, I'm inclined to believe the latter, odd though it sounds to us.

But either way Nynaeve's Aes Sedai status certainly won't enter into it. If Lan rules his queen, he rules her whether she's an Aes Sedai or a milkmaid. If he doesn't, he doesn't.

How dare you assume a king outranks an Aes Sedai in his own kingdom and palace?! - 16/05/2011 03:22:19 AM 692 Views
Or any woman for that matter. *NM* - 16/05/2011 01:00:55 PM 293 Views
