I thought the one who takes lead was outlined in their marriage vows. Nynaeve has authority in public settings, while Lan rules their private life. I don't see Lan's annointment to Kingship disrupting this dynamic, really.
Nope.
Their marriage vows say that whoever wields a public position of authority must yield to the other's leadership in private situations. It didn't establish Nynaeve or Lan lead in public. Their dynamic works as it does because Nynaeve is AS and Lan warder. It's up to Nynaeve and Lan to decide if Lan becoming King (if he even does... for the moment he still have only the Blight to rule) changes this dynamic, and how.
Do you realize

How dare you assume a king outranks an Aes Sedai in his own kingdom and palace?!
