I think that there are going to be any major inaccuracies in the books written by Brandon. Sure there might be a few mistakes here and there about how someone uses the one power, or someone thinks in a way that is contradictory to their character, but I believe RJ's notes are detailed enough to cover almost all plot points and not just major events.
