3. Alivia really is high Forsaken strength, and with a strong angreal she was on equal footing with Cyndane.
I just want to point out that Alivia wasn't really on equal footing with Cyndane, because of the angreal. Cyndane spent most of her time hit and running, while Alivia just stood in one place and blasted everything. It was pretty apparent that Cyndane was outmatched, and was simply hoping to get a lucky hit in.
RJ himself said that they were evenly matched.
