The Breaking of the World had to end at some point, and even if it dragged on for a few HUNDRED years, that's well within an Aes Sedai's lifespan, Oath Rod or not. Add to that DomA's comments about the usefulness of short-distance Travelling, and it seems the only way they would have forgotten is if Agents J and K popped in for a quick "how do you do?"
