Don't mean to speak for Shannow, but some possibilities...

1. How exactly would Demandred get so many Shadowspawn to the Isle of Madmen? They can't Travel and there are no waygates.

Portal Stones
2. Why would you choose a seafaring nation as the vessel for your assault when Shadowspawn are scared of water? Even with the Myrddraal driving them, Demandred doesn't have time to quell his own ranks while fighting the Dragon Reborn.

They don't have to swim, just fight.
3. Where will all these boats come from? The Seafolk have pledged them to Rand and they're busy delivering food.

Parallel Universes where they are not pledged to Rand (see Portal Stones above).


Portal Stones or no why would anyone bother with the IoMM? It's a pointless waste of resources at this stage of the game.

Swim or not Shadowspawn FEAR crossing water. The effort of getting Trollocs on the ships alone makes it a less than ideal scenario. Especially since they can use Portal Stones and Waygates.

It would take a LOT of power to move so. Any ships and people from these worlds and there is no way to tell what happens when duplicate people enter the same world. We've only seen people enter worlds where they do not currently exist.
