View original postAfter completing WoT, how did you feel? Happy, sad, relieved, angry, disappointed, satisfied.....combo of many things?
View original postMy first reaction was relieved, it's finally over and I know the end. I also had some disappointment that RJ wasn't the one to complete it, but I know that he wrote the final scene, so that was comforting.
View original postIt didn't end everything as completely as it should have. The Seanchan situation for instance. Also never saw the Seanchan Ogier meet the Randland Ogier. That was disappointing. Sanderson gave us more male POVs but didn't do as good a job as he should have ultimately with the true ending.
View original postYes, Rand has a new body and seems to be able to access some sort of new power. But was that enough really?
View original postAh well.

In any discussion, error is possible. In your discussions, it's a near certainty.

On a different topic, how important do you think that stuff is?

On further reflection, I think the religion element being left out is important.

Morning Star is actually a title of Mary, and the name of a summer camp run by nuns.

Personally, "religion" in WoT makes perfect sense... For the AoL. Not so much the Third Age

Not great, but better; what all went to Hell after ACoS, Sanderson at least returned to Purgatory

MAYBE in the pacing, but that is it. Sanderson got absolutely nothing else right beyond the events *NM*

Guess I'm in the minority, because I felt quite satisfied, all things considered.
