After completing WoT, how did you feel? Happy, sad, relieved, angry, disappointed, satisfied.....combo of many things?

My first reaction was relieved, it's finally over and I know the end. I also had some disappointment that RJ wasn't the one to complete it, but I know that he wrote the final scene, so that was comforting.

It didn't end everything as completely as it should have. The Seanchan situation for instance. Also never saw the Seanchan Ogier meet the Randland Ogier. That was disappointing.

I was disappointed in this too! I always thought maybe the Seanchan Ogier would be like "oh, we don't have to fight?" or like...I don't know, find a more peaceful life in Randland, or be like "Bye Seanchan, we're done"

But then, and this may have been answered, but did the Ogier go with the original Seanchan migrants when they crossed the sea, or where they indigenous to Seanchan, like some of the hill tribes they talked about? Maybe both? Do they even have steddings in Seanchan? Maybe the breaking didn't leave any in Seanchan, and the Ogier there had to survive without them, which I don't assume went too well, but in time maybe the strong survived. Maybe they do have steddings, I don't know, but I was always very interested in hearing more about them, how they lived, how they liked their way of life, if they ever thought there could be a better one. Maybe they love fighting, I don't know.

(Once again, I may have totally missed this) but wtf is up with the book of translations? Are they from another world, like one of those portal worlds? I have questions.

I've not read the encyclopedia book thing that came out a few years ago, perhaps all my questions have already been answered, but I'm sure I can come up with more if that's the case

"It feels like someone with a fever is yelling at my pants!"
Note: Just because we moved does not mean I shall stop abusing the smileys

Personally, "religion" in WoT makes perfect sense... For the AoL. Not so much the Third Age - 09/03/2017 01:55:29 AM 1310 Views
