As you said, theoretically Graendal or Mesaana could be on the same level, or maybe Mesaana and Moghedien.

Who are the six strongest women on the "new list" then?
Alivia and Semirhage are pretty much a given. Maybe Talaan, Sharina and Someryn (though Someryn seems to be weaker than Graendal, otherwise Graendal had commented on it). Possibly at least one other super damane at Fortuona's court.


I think the 6 are:
Lanfear,
Alivia,
Sharina,
Talaan,
Semirhage (my gut feel says Sanderson's memory was indeed faulty and that the tiny gap between Semirhage and Nynaeve is actually the other way around from his tentative recollection. KCF's personal input would be great here, to get a feel for Sanderson's tone of voice when he said this.)

And then one more. I don't like the Someryn idea. From Graendal's tone she certainly did not seem to suggest that Someryn was actually stronger than herself.
Maybe someone we don't know of yet.
