Just another false lead rAndy aL Send a noteboard - 30/11/2009 11:59:42 PM
If Graendal is dead, then her aquisition of the ring angreal has served no puspose in terms of the plot. She hasn't killed one enemy who 'thought they knew her strength', before being unpleasantly surprised.

The scuffle with Cyndane and Moghedien was meaningless from a plot perspective since they never intended to kill her in any case.

Come to think of it, could the unfillfilled use of her angreal be a sign that she is actually still alive? Was her thought about surprising someone with it foreshadowing by RJ, or just a meaningless soundbyte?

Not everything gets used. Her angreal didn't affect the plot, but it made sense that she would have found something in Sammael's stash. It did keep the fanbase guessing the wrong way...
