I do understand the subtlties, and I find them reprehensible. Things like your line about "subtlties" are a bullshit cop-out way of saying "I like it, I want it this way, but I can't actually make an intelligent defense of principles so I'll claim it is all complex and stuff." Why don't you try making a case that Egwene did a moral thing?
