That you need at least a certain strong body to unfold your whole respective potential. If another body differs too much from this, you lose a bit of your theoretical potential. It's e.g. possible that Balthamel's body was stronger than it actually needed to be for him accessing all of his possible strength, or that Aran'gar's body doesn't differ too much, so that one wouldn't notice any change in the OP strength.

On the other hand, Lanfear needed a very strong body, and her drop was noticeable, when she was transmigrated in Cyndane's short body.
