<I am away from my book and I am not sure, but didn't Moridin express that he was tired? He was looking forward to the wheel being destroyed so he did not have to continue on forever or something like that. Maybe he wants Rand to balefire him. That may possibly take out both of them and the shawdow wins. Like I said, I don't have my book so am probably wrong.
