I know there is. You're the one who brought up the weaves being picked apart Sareitha Sedai Send a noteboard - 03/02/2010 06:37:40 PM
between a weave that unravels itself and a weave which is picked apart by someone. Think of it much akin to a knot in a weave. We've seen time and time again that people can set the knot to unravel itself after an amount of time. Rand just did this with those damane which were captured during the taking of Semirhage.

Is it so far fetched for Graendal to make a weave which unravels itself upon being touched with the power? Is this so crazy?

~Jeordam

In this case I think it is, because for the victim to not show any ill effects from being Compulsed (especially by Graendal, who is noted throughout the series for her heavyhandedness there) makes it much more likely that the weave was never there (BF) than that it was there and went away.
