It also seems blatantly obvious that we're supposed to wonder why the AK would be left behind ... why mention it? why have them in the same place as the DB and yet leave it behind? I'm not seeing the logic of linking the two items for absolutely no reason.


But apparently her master SH didn't care about it, or even didn't want it in Semirhage's hands.

This makes more sense to me than the crazy idea that the Shadow just wanted to capture Rand for a short moment, so that he would use the TP to kill Semirhage when she makes him kill Min, and subsequently become such evil that he would destroy the world with the Choedan Kal. The Shadow wants to control Rand, not let him run amok. Especially if the general plan was to make Rand a TP addict, it seems rather likely that he had used the TP again, if the Choedan Kal wasn't available.


But one of the reasons is because the AK was so blatantly left behind ... that takes stupidity to a whole new level, even for the Forsaken!


And what "other priorities" could he have that would include leaving the most power full sa'angreal ever made laying around for another man to pick up and use?
