I never said the reasoning behind why they kill or destroy was "innocent." I just said there was a biological reason behind it.
Theoretically, you could say there's a biological reason behind everything we do. Everything should boil down to our base instincts: stay alive, attract a mate, keep the species going. The difference is, people have alternative ways of doing all of the above, and they are aware of those things. To find a mate, a man doesn't have to bring back a bloody deer's head to his cavewoman.
