I'm going with getting her period again, there's definately evidence that the prophecy has been fulfilled.
I've seen this mentioned elsewhere on the internets, but not explained.
“When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east,” said Mirri Maz Duur. “When the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves. When your womb quickens again, and you bear a living child. Then he will return, and not before.”
The theory is that, Quentyn as the Prince of Dorne represents the sun, starting his journey in the west to die in the east. The Dothraki sea is already dry and the pyramids of Mereen. Lastly, having Drogon represent the return of Drogo.
...Drogon's returning to Mereen from wherever he'd been hiding? That's the one piece that doesn't really seem to fit for me. Is the whole point just that the reader was meant to infer something (Dany's infertility) that isn't actually true because there's now an alternate interpretation that makes sense?
Also, she hasn't borne a living child, and that seems to be required before Drogho/Drogon can return?
If you are from Betelgeuse, please have one of your Earth friends read what I've written before you respond. Or try concentrating harder.
