There's some things in that paragraph one can roll one's eyes at, aye - but that's as far as it goes Legolas Send a noteboard - 21/03/2012 08:06:32 PM

I have zero intention or desire to defend the hyperbole in their first sentence - all this frivolous talk about every offensive statement being a violation of human rights takes attention away from actually serious human rights violations, and hollows out the concept. I read that paragraph and I too was rolling my eyes.
These shitbags are anti-Christian hate-mongers and I for one would like to see them prosecuted under EU hate speech laws. They are attacking, in blanket terms, Christianity and Christian civilization. Oddly enough, they are defending Islam despite a wealth of anti-Semitic writings in the Islamic world.

This however is rather absurd if it is intended at all seriously, which I'm not sure it is... if it's just a tit-for-that to illustrate how badly they're exaggerating, fair enough. If you sincerely consider them "anti-Christian hate-mongers" based on that paragraph, though, I have to start questioning your judgement.
