He didn't say it was a list of the best or even good fantasy authors. He said it was a list of authors who wrote actual fantasy, as opposed to a number of authors on Vandermeer's list.

As I understood it, it was your comments on Tom's list which disappeared, since you used the block quote style instead of a line by line one... the little boxes next to the smiley codes are your friends. pick the rightmost one before you start replying.
