Depends on your perspective, I suppose.
They essentially want around 70 to 80 percent of what they currently get for almost none of the production costs. Of course that is 70 to 80 percent of what Borders gets, I imagine Amazon's cut on an ebook is even less meaning that MacMillan is really maximizing profit.
I'd love to see someone do a real cost/profit analysis with real figures.
But wine was the great assassin of both tradition and propriety...
