While their is data on people that attempted suicide and the connection with bullying, to my knowledge their is no rigorous scientific study that asked a person before they committed suicide if they are gay/bi/queer/questioning/whatever and whether they were bullied. I bet you can understand why the later is hard to prove
As for studies right in front of me, do I have the studies and links in front of me that I can add to the discussion, no I do not. I ain't going to waste my time looking for them, for while they do exist, I don't believe they really add to the discussion. There are multiple problems with these social science studies, for example on the wikipedia link different studies had the gay male suicide rates with different results by a factor six. Furthermore as the wikipedia link I posted in response to nossy showed what is applicable to the general population is not applicable to specific groups for black gay men have a suicide rate that increases when they get older instead of decreases (in other words culture matters.) Finally there is no definite answer on how much the population is gay, bi, trans, etc.
Thus in sum these social science studies prove nothing. They may introduce what is possible a casual link, but they prove nothing. That said I think it is safe to say both sides of the discussion probably assume bullying of gay people or people perceived as different leads to a greater risk of suicide.
----------------------------------------
Another thing most young teenagers aren't a 100% sure of their sexuality and how to define it, even if they are 100% sure about all the details doesn't mean they want to communicate it to the survey taker (or even know how to translate the thoughts into words) and most social science studies address this.

Good enough answer Legolas?
