Palin should be apologizing for 'targeting' certain districts because the representative in one of those districts was shot by a crazy man. Palin should not be, in any way, defending herself when being attacked by Liberals who are laying the blame solely at her feet with no evidence beyond the circumstantial in support of the accusation. (And the last is my understanding of the phrase 'blood libel' as used by Palin, which in this context would make perfect sense)

I wonder what would happen if I posted on facebook or made a website that said, "Someone should do something about China" And Russia nuked them 10 months later.

Try re-reading what the Representative said, which I only just found out was during an interview about her office being torn up after a self appointed militia leader urged people to throw bricks through the windows of everyone who voted for healthcare. She didn't object to the use of the word "target" but did worry about the "consequences" of images with her district and others in crosshairs. The interviewer pooh poohed the notion there could be ANY connection between her vandalized office and all the hatred and militance stirred up in the past two years, dismissed the idea anything bad could come of her district being shown in a gunsight. Her place of business was attacked and then she was shot; don't you think there MIGHT be something to her suggestion that all the vitriolic rhetoric and violent language against her played a role? I'll make the same suggestion to you that I did to Palin: Go to her hospital room and accuse her of "blood libel" to her face. Yeah, I'm sure that now that Giffords is out of her medically induced coma and recovering from the surgery to remove part of her skull so she didn't die she feels just awful about what SHE'S done to poor Sarah.... :rolleyes:
