I don't think that dating outside your culture makes it easier. The more different the culture, the harder it is. Relationships are complicated to begin with. Every way in which it is harder to understand each other and/or communicate with each other, makes the chances of the relationship succeeding smaller.

That doesn't mean it's impossible, but just that you have to work harder.
