Doesn't matter; Romney can phone this in, and even if he somehow manages to lose the nomination (flip flopping on tax hikes in the space of a single day won't help) and thereby re-elect Obama we still get crony capitalist government--it just won't involve naked exhortations to political violence; yea...? 
He doesn't want to increase tax cuts but will keep in place those already in existence.
No new taxes, but the old ones will remain, possibly even be increased.
