Or you could just skip the R altogether if that's not what you want. Joel Send a noteboard - 18/08/2011 07:15:47 PM
Nothing there to get upset about, really. It's not even amusing, like Bush's had the potential to be. ;)

The funny thing here is that I could well end up voting R in 2012 since if we're going to have an R government no matter what, it might as well be serious about it.

There ARE other options, after all; you don't have to restrict yourself to either the corporate party or the faux-labor corporate party. More to the point, if that's all the Dems offer and you don't want it, you don't lose anything if voting for a third party costs Democrats the election. You could, however, gain a viable alternative to both the major parties and, no matter how unlikely that may be, it's a better chance than you have voting Republican or Democrat. 0.1% may be crappy odds, but it's still infinitely better than 0%.

the difference in degree is the degree of hyperbole you used - 18/08/2011 02:14:03 PM 350 Views
"Hyperbole". That is exactly the word I was just thinking to describe the situation. - 19/08/2011 01:10:26 AM 390 Views

He left it vague, so he gets away with promoting violence; that's "free speech" now. - 18/08/2011 02:52:30 AM 475 Views
I shall infer something from those statements - 18/08/2011 02:00:00 PM 480 Views
