You mean like the international media attention and protests, along with an international campaign, that took place when Joseph O'Dell (a white man) was executed in 1997 despite indications that evidence used in his trial was incorrect?

Uh huh. I think you've got some issues going on there. From the sound of it, in Davis' case, he was not being defended "simply because he was black". There probably are cases where this accusation is true, but I think you are way off base here. You seem to be saying that it doesn't matter if he was innocent because white innocent people get executed too. Any case where the evidence is in doubt, regardless of the defendant's skin colour, should be protested. And I think you are completely wrong about no one caring if white people are executed on questionable evidence.
