What about the t-shirts? *NM* Dark Knight Send a noteboard - 22/09/2011 05:47:49 PM

And the NAACP comes galloping in, defending people simply because they are black. Nobody cares two titties if an innocent white man is executed. That's just wrong. Just once I want to see media coverage and protests and t-shirts about a wrongly convicted white guy.

You mean like the international media attention and protests, along with an international campaign, that took place when Joseph O'Dell (a white man) was executed in 1997 despite indications that evidence used in his trial was incorrect?

Or the protests that took place when white male Cameron Willingham was executed in 2004 based on evidence some authorities were arguing was faulty?

Uh huh. I think you've got some issues going on there. From the sound of it, in Davis' case, he was not being defended "simply because he was black". There probably are cases where this accusation is true, but I think you are way off base here. You seem to be saying that it doesn't matter if he was innocent because white innocent people get executed too. Any case where the evidence is in doubt, regardless of the defendant's skin colour, should be protested. And I think you are completely wrong about no one caring if white people are executed on questionable evidence.
