In Texas there are laws on when you can buy it but some counties have more restrictive laws. In a lot of place you can not buy it at all or you can only buy beer and wine. It still seems strange to me to go to LA and see them selling hard liquor at a 7-11. In Texas and a lot of other states you can only buy the hard stuff at liquor stores and they all close at 9.
