The difference between allowing someone to defend themselves with a gun they have TheCrownless Send a noteboard - 22/12/2012 01:09:40 AM
I'd like to see someone present a citation that in that country it isn't, which is frankly utterly irrelevant but still, right now it is just an assertion. I have shown, and will be glad to quote, that under their laws it's entirely allowed to use own in self-defense... which would seem more important.

for a legitimate reason and allowing people to buy guns for the purpose of self defence are very different things. If you really disagree with that then I honestly do not know what to say.

Oh I wasn't commenting on the standard of people here - 21/12/2012 11:29:36 PM 949 Views
you're largely correct, which is why we need stronger laws on ownership not guns per se - 21/12/2012 09:39:14 PM 924 Views
I can't think of a better reason than self defense - 21/12/2012 10:33:26 PM 992 Views

I think you are on the right track, but to the wrong destination; "lethal weapon" is redundant. - 21/12/2012 11:05:29 PM 944 Views
My read is that the 2nd Amendment not only allows, but mandates, cop-killer bullets. - 22/12/2012 12:45:04 AM 999 Views
