typical Moondog bullshit response HyogaRott Send a noteboard - 23/12/2012 01:06:12 PM
Canada had a mass shooting after they instituted stricter gun laws. those very laws are credited with the extremely low death rate as a result of the shooting. trying to pretend stricter laws does not limit access to guns is ignoring reality. if australia, canada and scotland can find a way to prevent mass shootings there is no excuse for us not to have similarly strict laws. or are you saying it is perfectly reasonable to expect that we should see even more 6 year olds murdered every year in order to not upset the gun lobby?

Criminals do not obey the law.

Children are killed by someone with an Automobile much more often than by someone with a gun (additionally, the possession/use of a vehicle is NOT Constitutionally protected in any way). The death rate among Amish/Mennonite children from automobile accidents is vastly lower than among non-Amish. Should we ban cars?

You logic, as usual, is highly flawed.

you're largely correct, which is why we need stronger laws on ownership not guns per se - 21/12/2012 09:39:14 PM 823 Views
