It's one thing for the Cayman Islands or Monaco or so, there a small change in taxation could chase a significant amount of wealth out of the country. Not in the US.

It definitely can't be that hard to cut back some on corporate welfare and focus the stimulus efforts on the SMEs that actually need it, though. And I do think part of that would be serious tax simplification so the small fries aren't paying corporate taxes that the big companies pay their consultants fortunes to skirt around.
