And my comment was that if we don't vote without educating oneself than we should claim responsibility for the effects of ones actions. There is consequences to ones actions, and our collective lack of knowledge of what is going on in Washington (evidenced by the facts I linked) make it evident we are getting the government that we deserve. If we are out of touched and don't the effects of the rules of the senate and house, or that the votes of major legislation, we can't claim that Washington is out of touch with America. No it is us who are out of touch, we get the consequences of our actions. We get the political system, we get the democracy, that we deserve.

You might want to calm down Aemon, I ain't the high brow one here.
