Every criminal or innocent is in jail because they met the standards of reasonable doubt in the eyes of a jury of their peers. Everyone of them has the chance to appeal based on new evidence and is their because of evidence. Any conceivable scenario in which we might have reason to trust such a specific data would be grounds for retrial for all of them, otherwise it's pure speculation.
