I'm sorry, you cannot claim the operation was a result of politics and then in the next paragraph mention how Hamas is calm. As if that is just some blind luck. That's just cynicism.
It should have been done earlier, but I guess they decided to do it before George W. was to leave office.


but if you're implying that Hamas' calm is a result of Operation Cast Lead, you must have missed the part where they were even calmer before. :P
