health insurance stocks were up across the board with mega-giant UHC having the biggest increase in the aftermath of the bill's passage. What does that tell you?

Supporters seem to think cost controls that somehow missed inclusion in two separate bills whose only purpose was to implement them will magically appear at some undetermined later date. I'm not holding my breath; this issue is more politically toxic than ever, the public thoroughly fatigued and further reform efforts will be met with "See? Incremental socialism! This issue is SETTLED, let it drop. "

Which is what I expect us to do. I still await a major piece of Obama legislation that does something other than enrich a huge industry. Did he and Romney switch bodies after the election or something...? :confused:
